Welcome to Information Technology Services (ITS)

Hello!  Whether you are a student, faculty, staff, donor, or guest at PSU, we are so very glad that you are part of Gorilla Nation!  PSU's technology resources are centralized under one department: Information Technology Services (ITS).  ITS serves about 8,500 wonderful people every day, all day.  We are here to make sure that your technology experiences on campus are as seamless as possible.  Our greatest hope is that PSU technology serves as a tool to further your work, engagement, and fun on our beautiful campus.  Please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly if I can be of assistance or if you would like to share a suggestion with ITS.  You can find my contact information in the PSU Directory.

Information Technology Services reports to the President's Division of Pittsburg State University.  PSU is one of six institutions of higher learning in Kansas, reporting to the Kansas Board of Regents. You can learn more about our department's structure by viewing the ITS Organizational Chart.

There is a new PSU Strategic Plan!  The new plan will drive how the IT plan looks in the future.  Watch for updates to this page with more information as it is made available to us.

For now, feel free to view our current PSU Information Technology Strategic Plan. It was compiled and submitted by The Information Technology Council (ITC) and is reviewed and updated annually.  The plan is made up of Goals, Objectives, and SMART Action Items.  Each Goal is aligned with a University goal to ensure consistency with PSU's Pathway to Prominence: Mission, Vision, and Goals. 

ITC is a President's Division council made up of diverse PSU stakeholders, appointed by President's Council members.   ITC serves as the governing IT body for the University.   If you are interested in serving as an ITC member please share your interest with your supervisor. New members are selected every 2 years and serve 2 year terms.
