Walking/jogging tack (10 laps = 1 mile)

Plaster Center

The Plaster Center offers the non-varsity athletic students the opportunity to have access to the varsity Weight room and track during specific hours during the semester. Please visit the hours of operation webpage for hours of operation for the Plaster Center.

Hours subject to change. CLOSED evenings of athletic events and other activities held at the Garfield Weede Building. Student Recreation Center policies will be enforced at the Plaster Center.

Weede Racquetball Courts

The Garfield Weede Building offers the non-varsity athletic students the the opportunity to access Racquetball Courts and a small dance/aerobics studio.

Racquetball Courts

Garfield Weede Building Racquetball Courts are open to students and staff when the Garfield Weede Building is open during the day.  The Courts are also open in the evenings during the hours listed below.

• Monday - Thursday
  6:30pm - 9:30pm

Racquetball courts will be CLOSED during all HOME Volleyball and Basketball Games as well as academic, holiday breaks, and summer sessions.

Esports

The Campus Recreation department has recently added E-sports into our divisions! We have a wide variety of games that are played in 101 Horace Mann. The Esport Teams include:

• Valorant
• Rocket League
• League of Legends
• Overwatch
• Super Smash Bros

SRC Facilities are reserved on a case by case request. ALL REQUESTS MUST BE MADE 2 BUSINESS DAYS IN ADVANCE. 

The following times are available for PSU supported groups to reserve SRC space:

• Monday - Thursday
  6:00am - 8:00am and 6:30pm - Close
• Friday
  6:00am - 8:00am and 5:00pm - Close
• Saturday - Sunday
  (Anytime during normal operation hours)

Indoor Reservation Request

The Department of Campus Recreation oversees the reservation of all outdoor spaced that can be used for recreational activities on the campus of Pittsburg State University (PSU).

Activities/Groups without reservations are subject to removal.
Unauthorized groups must yield to the listed groups below.

PSU allows the reservation of outdoor recreation space for the groups in the following order of priority:

1. Campus Recreation and Intramural Sports
2. Currently enrolled PSU Students/Student Groups (For Student Related Functions)
3. PSU Departments (For Department Related Functions)
4. PSU Staff (For Staff Related Functions)
5. Non-PSU/Pittsburg community

Any group charging any type of fee to participants while using this space MUST reserve the space through Campus Recreation.

Prohibited:

• Alcohol
• Drugs
• Tobacco
• Open Carry Firearms
• Glass Bottles
• Pets on playing surfaces
  Exemption: Documented Service Animals

If you would like to reserve space please download the Outdoor Reservation Form, fill it out and bring it into the Student Recreation Center during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm. There are nominal fees associated with certain reservation types. These fees are listed on the reservation form.

These areas are not supervised; usages of these spaces are done at your own risk.
ALL REQUESTS MUST BE MADE 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE SO THAT FACILITIES CAN BE PAINTED OR DRUG FOR PEAK PERFORMANCE.
