The department offers Alternative Teaching Licensure programs in Special Education and Secondary Education. Certificates that lead to an endorsement to a teaching license in a variety of educational areas are available.

Pitt State College of Education Receives CAEP Accreditation
The Pittsburg State University College of Education meets rigorous national standards for educator preparation set by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation.
