PSU is in the process of replacing the University's home-grown, legacy ERP: GUS Classic.  ERPs in Higher Education are made up of 4 primary modules: Human Resources, Business Finance, Student Financial Assistance, and Student Information. PSU has replaced 3 of the 4 modules (HR, Business Finance, Financial Aid). 

 

Pitt State has partnered once again with Oracle. This time on the Oracle Student Management (OSM) system (aka Student Information System) which will complete the university's ERP system! The project team, which consists of several campus departments and functional experts, are currently:

 

  • Meeting regularly with Oracle and other institutions implementing the student product.
  • Working each week with our implementation partner, DriveStream.
  • Testing the new product.
  • Determining process and policy changes.
  • Meets monthly with the University OSM Steering Committee which is made up of diverse Pitt State stakeholders.
