Summer Camps

Pitt State programs designed for children and teenagers to attend during the summer months. Led by professors, grad students, and coaches, your child will explore campus life and get a taste of college-level instruction. Cover a wide range of activities, including sports, science and technology, and more.

A Morning in Nursing

June 6 | Ages 8-10 years | Free | Held in McPherson Hall and the new Simulation Hospital, this session will introduce youth to CPR, AEDs, and simulated patient care. Registratio link and details coming soon!

Family History for Everyone

June 20 | 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. | Ages 16 and up | FREE | Join Professor Kelly Woestman from the History Department to learn more about your family's history using online resources and build a family tree.

June 17-21 | 1st - 3rd Grade | $75 | Live animals and nature project

Nature Reach Day Camp

June 26 | $20 per child | For children starting 1st grade this fall.

July 8-12 | Ages 9 - 14 | $115 per session | Workshops in programming, robotics, and electro-mechanics

July 8-12 | Ages 9 - 14 | $100 per session | 3D Building Modeling, Problem Solving, Bridge Building, Safety, GPS and other activities

July 15-19 | Ages 9 - 14 | $100 per session | 3D Building Modeling, Problem Solving, Bridge Building, Safety, hands on activities including: building walls, pouring concrete, laying brick & building a dog house. Level I must be completed before taking Level II.

July 15-19 | Ages 9 - 14 | $115 per session | Students enrolling in Robotics II should have completed Robotics I or have experience with Lego(TM) Systems
