Living at Block22

Block22 started with an idea to provide quality, affordable housing units for Pittsburg State students in the city’s downtown district.

Today, in four beautifully renovated historic buildings at the heart of our city, Block22 features nearly 100 modern, urban-style apartments for PSU students.

Operated by the Office of University Housing, the apartments come in four distinct layouts: suite, flat, studio, and loft. — 97 with one bedroom and two with two bedrooms. Each comes fully furnished with a full kitchen, living space, and private bathroom. Each boasts unique, historic character and special features such as murphy and loft beds, spiral staircases, library ladders, built-in desks and shelves, and fireplace mantles. Apartments are similar, but no two are exactly the same.

The price to live at Block22 ranges from $525 to $650, and that includes all utilities and high-speed Internet.

Students who live here have access to Block22-specific parking and a shuttle bus that runs from downtown Pittsburg to Pitt State’s campus.
