Dear Gorillas of the Class of 2020,

On behalf of Pittsburg State University Alumni Association, congratulations on your graduation! Years of hard work and dedication allowed you to reach this point in your college career, and we wish you only the best in the future. With that being said, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the PSU Alumni Association!

We know this isn’t how you hoped this chapter would end, but know we are still here – cheering you on from our beautiful campus. Not only are we in Pittsburg, but we have more than 65,000 alumni in every state and many countries around the world. Wherever life takes you, more than likely a fellow Gorilla is near. 

To maintain your relationship with your Alma Mater and your fellow Gorillas, we encourage you to stay involved through the many opportunities from the Alumni Association. Our goal is to connect with alumni and keep them informed about PSU. Here are some easy ways to get involved:

• Update your information when you move, open a new email, or start a new job.

• Attend Gorilla Gatherings in your area.

• Return for homecoming and other events on campus.

• Cheer on the Gorillas at sporting events in your area.

• Participate in the alumni travel program.

• Show your PSU pride with a Gorilla License Plate (available in KS, MO, and OK).

• Take advantage of our benefits and services, such as the insurance program, credit card, and other discounts and services.

• Participate in the virtual Gorilla Alumni Book Club.

We would also like to provide a graduation gift by waiving the fee for the Kansas and Missouri Gorilla License Plates for you!
