The Communication Center

Be a more confident and reflective speaker! The Communication Center at Pitt State helps all students with all aspects of speaking and oral presentation projects, including selecting a topic, assembling visual aids like slides, rehearsal and feedback, and more! The Center is staffed by experienced consultants who are ready to help. Examples:

• Choose and narrow topics for speeches
• Organize, research, and support messages effectively
• Create and integrate visual aids, including presentations
• Use grammatically correct and audience appropriate language
• Format speeches and papers according to APA style
• Rehearse and critique speeches
• Help with outlines and bibliographies.
