Pittsburg State University offers students access to an attorney for an array of legal advice. The attorney is available for approximately three hours a week.
There is no cost to the student to discuss legal matters. The attorney will not represent students, but will assist students who choose to represent themselves in their legal matters, or refer them to an attorney who may represent them for a fee.
The attorney cannot help international students with immigration issues, nor can she supply resources concerning immigration. International students should contact the Director of International Programs concerning their immigration inquiries.
To request assistance from the attorney, students should complete the Student Legal Resources Information Sheet. The attorney will review the information and contact the student. For questions, contact the Office of Student Life, 221 Russ Hall, 620-235-4231.
