The Jack H. Overman Student Center is the heart of student life at Pittsburg State — a place to eat, study, relax, or hang out with friends. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, catching an event, or meeting up between classes, the Student Center is here to make campus life easier and more fun. It is a welcoming space built for connection, community, and getting the most out of your time at PSU.
Events & Reservations
The Overman Student Center provides a variety of rooms on its top floor that can be reserved by students, faculty, or staff for events, meetings, or gatherings. These spaces are designed to accommodate a wide range of activities, from small meetings to larger events. In addition to the private reservations, the Student Center also hosts open events in its common areas, offering a welcoming environment for all students to attend and participate in campus life. Whether for a formal event or a casual gathering, the Overman Student Center serves as a versatile hub for both reserved and open campus activities.
Eat, Study, Relax, have Fun!
The University Club (The U-Club), located in the basement of the Overman Student Center, is a favorite hangout spot for students looking to relax and unwind. It features two dining options, plenty of seating, a game room with pool and ping pong tables, and a relaxation room where you can also kick back. Whether you’re grabbing food, playing games, or just taking a break, the University Club is the perfect place to recharge and have fun on campus.
