About Howard Glanton

Howard Glanton, classical guitarist, holds a Master of Music Performance from Texas Tech University (1994) and a Bachelor of Music Performance from Eastern New Mexico University (1990). Howard is currently the adjunct Professor of guitar studies at Bethel college, Hesston college, Tabor college, Sterling college as well as Friends University, Wichita State University, and most recently, Pittsburg State University. He has performed as a soloist in the USA, Europe, South America, and Mexico. He, along with his fellow guitarist Excier Rodriguez, formed the Anglo/ Caribbean Guitar Duo in 1995 and have toured throughout the USA and Mexico and recorded two albums. Howard also performs with his daughter Kaleigh Glanton who is a classical guitarist as well as a singer/ songwriter featured on season 6 of “The Voice”. In April 2018, Howard was invited to perform for the 50th anniversary of the Kansas/ Paraguay Partners of the Americas in Wichita and in June 2018 in Paraguay.
