About Brandon Wade

Brandon Wade is in his 17th year of teaching and serves as the Choral Director at Pratt High School and Liberty Middle School in Pratt, Kansas. His ensembles consistently receive top ratings at District and State Festivals and are well represented in the KMEA Honor Choirs. His groups have had the privilege of performing at the KMEA State Convention and, in March 2022, at Carnegie Hall in New York City. By invitation, his students will now have the opportunity to perform at Cadogan Hall in London, England.

During the summer, Brandon enjoys teaching classes in musical theater, vocal percussion, and contemporary a cappella arranging. He also serves as the Music Director for Pratt High School musical productions, which have earned multiple Jester Awards from Music Theatre Wichita.

Brandon has been an active member of the Kansas Music Educators Association (KMEA), serving as the Southwest District High School Choir Chair, Southwest District President, and currently as Chair of the All-State Mixed Honor Choir. In addition to his work with KMEA, Brandon currently serves as President of the Kansas Choral Directors Association (KCDA) and has previously served as the Kansas Representative for the A Cappella Education Association. He has also had the opportunity to serve as a guest clinician for honor choirs and music programs throughout Kansas.

In addition to teaching, Brandon enjoys remaining active as a musician. Most of all, however, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their two sons, Naise and Asher.
