Free Adobe Access During the COVID 19 Pandemic

Adobe is now offering FREE access to Adobe Creative Cloud to all students and faculty due to the COVID 19 pandemic.  As a result of the PSU campus closure, student access to Adobe Creative Cloud and other “lab only” software titles is not available via traditional on-site means. PSU has addressed this issue in two ways: 

  • For selected Adobe applications (and for other titles like SPSS, Minitab, etc) students, faculty, and staff with Windows PCs can use GUSWare to access these applications from anywhere, anytime.  You can log in to GUSWare directly from the GUS Portal. Be sure to check out the GUSWare website to learn more about how the product works and how to get started.  
  • In addition to application delivery via GUSWare, Adobe has provided a temporary “direct installation” option.  This temporary licensing permits you to install some, or all, of the Creative Cloud Suite on your Windows PC, Mac, or mobile device.  Not all devices support all applications… but these limitations are not new. Please follow these instructions to get access to Adobe Creative Cloud on your personal device.

Adobe has provided temporary “direct installation” at-home access for students and faculty impacted by the COVID 19 pandemic.  This allows you to continue your work remotely using any application in the Creative Cloud Suite. This temporary licensing permits you to install some or all of the Creative Cloud suite on your PC, Mac, or mobile device.
