Public Policy Minor

Understand how policy affects all aspects of society — from urban development, international relations, and technological change to healthcare, education, and the law.

Students enrolled in the Public Policy minor at Pittsburg State will learn to:

  • Design and analyze public policies using a range of social science perspectives
  • Write and communicate clearly about policy issues
  • Engage on social issues with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Design policy solutions from diverse perspectives
  • Participate in debates about social problems and potential policy solutions
