Electrical Technology Program Application

Thank you for your interest in applying to the Electrical Technology program. The faculty and staff of the College of Technology are proud of the quality of our Associate's and Certificate Electrical Technology programs, which is reflected in our exceedingly high student outcomes. 

It is the responsibility of the applicant to be sure all items on the check sheet are completed.

ET application procedure

The Electrical Technology application procedure is for all applicants interested in the 2-Year Associate's or Certificate Program. 

Deadline
Program seats are secured on a first come first serve basis. Seats for each semester are limited so apply now for Fall of 2024!

Step 1. Complete the application for admission to Pitt State

Unless you are currently enrolled or have already applied at Pittsburg State University, you have to apply for admission and be accepted to Pitt State. Start application for admission or contact the Admissions Office (620) 235-4250.

Step 2. Complete the application for admission to Electrical Technology

Fill out the short Electrical Technology application. You will need your PSU ID to complete.

Step 3. Pay Electrical Technology deposit

Call before you make a payment

Seats for the electrical program are limited. Please dial 620-235-6555 before making a payment to avoid any inconveniences with refunds if the class is full. Don't wait too long, as seats tend to fill up rapidly.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required in order to secure a seat in the program.

To pay by credit card, call the Pitt State's Cashier's office at 620-235-4092. Alternatively, a check or money can be sent to the Office of Admission, Pittsburg State University, 1701 South Broadway Street, Pittsburg KS, 66762.
