James Howey

About

James Howey is a full-time Economic Data Technician for the Business and Economic Research Center. He has been with the Center since June of 2026 and provides data management, analysis and editorial support. His work involves utilizing various data management tools as well as programming languages such as SQL and Python to summarize the economic statistics for the Center.

James is a May 2024 graduate from the College of Business at Kansas State University, earning a BSBA in Management Information Systems as well as a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, working out, and watching various sporting events.
