Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling the contractual duties of a faculty member (Teaching, Scholarly Activity, Service) while teaching 3-6 credit hours each semester
  • Maintaining faculty continuity by leading monthly faculty meetings
  • Facilitating the program review and accreditation process
  • Leading the fall and spring Advisory Council meetings
  • Developing course schedules which includes determining teaching load and specific courses to be taught by faculty
  • Coordinating industry relations efforts and industry visits
  • Leading recruiting and media efforts to promote the Automotive programs
  • PM is first in the chain of command for complaints from customers/students/faculty
  • PM is the go-to manager for CPs/faculty regarding issues (equipment, scheduling, etc.) in the 2-yr/4-yr labs
  • PM is authorized signature for automotive accounts
