Direct or coordinate Career and Technical Education programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at the secondary or post-secondary level.
Candidates for the degree must hold a master’s degree in a CTE or technical field in addition to the requirements for the specialist degree.
To earn the EdS degree you must complete one of two options:
- Research and Specialist Thesis
- Special Research Project

- Legal Foundations of Public Education
- Organizational Theory and Planning
- Change Processes and Professional Development
- Grant Writing and External Resources
