Students for Violence Prevention

Students for Violence Prevention (SVP) is a group of peer educators working to raise awareness and educate students about domestic violence, dating violence, healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, sexual violence, sexual communication and consent, healthy sexuality, stalking, and bystander intervention. SVP believes it's on all of us to end sexual and domestic violence. Our mission is to create an environment on the Pittsburg State University campus where sexual and domestic violence is unacceptable, victims and survivors are supported, perpetrators are held accountable, and students are empowered to be active bystanders.
