My goal was to be a Family & Consumer Sciences Teacher and an adviser for a FCCLA student organization.  I have now reached that goal.  Leadership takes many forms and my experience at Pittsburg State provided me many opportunities to develop those skills.

I blended my major with a minor in Public Health which has opened doors for me in pursuing my career.  My internship at the Community Health Clinic and current job at the Swope Health Services as a Community Support Specialist for Children lets me use my knowledge and skills to benefit others.
