Panczer joins staff as CAC program coordinator

In her role, Panczer serves as the advisor for Gorillas In Your Midst (GIYM). The student-run GIYM program educates students on important health topics such as alcohol, drugs, sex, stress management, body image and nutrition. Panczer also helps coordinate on-campus events such as the annual Community Fair and Apple Day ceremony.

“I’m excited to be at Pitt State to help advise the Gorillas In Your Midst program,” Panczer said. “I believe in the mission of empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health. University students are faced with important health decisions almost every day, and I look forward to working with them to expand their health education.”

Panczer is a 2015 graduate of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in health science with a concentration in community health. She also minored in psychology at Lock Haven. In May of this year, she earned a master’s degree in public health from Montclair State University in Montclair, N.J.

Before coming to Pitt State, Panczer served as the health promotion supervisor at Montclair State.
