Hasselblad to conduct camera workshop at PSU

Representatives from Sweden-based Hasselblad, one of the world’s leading photography equipment manufacturers, will conduct a series of photography workshops at Pittsburg State University next week.

The Hasselblad Bron Education Program workshop, sponsored by the PSU Department of Graphics and Imaging Technologies, will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the Kansas Technology Center. Student sessions will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by an hour-long session for area professionals.

The student sessions will take place in KTC Rooms E212 and E220. The free professional session will take place in room S102.

“This is an incredibly unique opportunity for us, because Hasselblad not only makes the best photography equipment on earth, but they also don’t come to the U.S. often,” said Rion Huffman, assistant professor in the GIT department. “Our students are going to get their hands on the best cameras in the world, and they’re going to learn from the best of the best.”
