PSU enrollment up for spring semester

Total spring semester enrollment at Pittsburg State University is 6,795 students, an increase of 34 over last spring, according to the university’s official report to the Kansas Board of Regents.

“Growth in the university’s graduate programs and Gorilla Advantage and Gorilla Edge programs has been particularly encouraging,” said Lee Young, associate vice president for enrollment management and student success.

Young said the university’s marketing efforts in target areas, combined with high quality academic programs and PSU’s comparable low cost have driven the university’s growth.

“Students continue to see great value and a high return on their investment at PSU,” Young said.
