Jazz ensembles perform Oct. 7

One of the tunes on the PSU Jazz Program’s first concert of the fall semester is, appropriately, “Autumn Leaves.” Pitt State’s two jazz ensembles will present a free concert at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, in the Crimson and Gold Ballroom of the Overman Student Center.

The concert will feature classics such as “Shenandoah,” and “Bye Bye Black Bird” as well as works by Freddie Hubbard, Benny Carter, Pat Metheny, Radiohead, Tom Kubis and one for the Maynard Ferguson band called “Crusin’ for a Bluesin’.”
