PSU saddened by death of student in ATV accident

Pittsburg State University President Steve Scott issued the following statement upon learning of the death of PSU student Devon Morris. Morris, a 20-year-old from LaCygne, Kan., passed away as a result of an ATV accident on Monday near Springfield, Mo.

“To lose a life at such a young age is a tragedy,” said Scott. “I extend my deepest sympathies to Devon’s family and friends, and offer condolences on behalf of the entire Pittsburg State University community.”

Morris was in her junior year and majoring in Recreation.
