A regional adult band called the Four State Symphonic Winds will perform a free, one-hour concert on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts in the Linda and Lee Scott Performance Hall.
The ensemble is directed by PSU Honors College Director Craig Fuchs, a professor of music, and is comprised of many Pittsburg State alumni and former students, including area band directors, music teachers, collegiate teachers and students, and community members.
“We do four concerts each year, and we move locations around to reflect the regional aspect to the group,” Fuchs said.
The concert is open to the public and will include traditional concert band music.
