The Department of Engineering Technology is housed in the Kansas Technology Center (KTC) on the PSU campus. Pittsburg State University's Engineering Technology programs are a part of the total engineering education spectrum and are committed to excellence in engineering technology education.
The Engineering Technology Programs at PSU are comprised of elements of the technological spectrum requiring scientific and engineering knowledge plus the operational methods and skills devoted to achieving practical purpose in support of product producing industries.

Two-year associate degree holders have options available to them with the Bachelor of Applied Science degree.
The five Engineering Technology programs--Construction Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology and Plastics Engineering Technology are fully accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
