Opera, Symphony stage 'The Magic Flute'
The Pittsburg State University Opera Workshop, in conjunction with the PSU Department of Music, will perform Mozart's "The Magic Flute" at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 and at 3 p.m. on Nov. 20 in Pittsburg's Memorial Auditorium. Both performances will be accompanied by the Southeast Kansas Symphony under the direction of Dr. Selim Giray.
Workshop presents scenes from great operas
The PSU Opera Workshop will present scenes from some of the most famous operas of all times in free performances on April 8 and April 10 in McCray Recital Hall.
