New law in Missouri stops university license plates

In a letter this week to hundreds of Pittsburg State University alumni living in Missouri, PSU’s director of alumni and constituent relations wrote that the university was disappointed in legislative action that will prevent PSU alumni in that state from purchasing specialty license plates that bear the university’s iconic mascot logo.

PSU awards contract for arts center

The decades-old dream of a new arts center on the Pittsburg State University campus took a giant leap forward on Nov. 30 with the announcement by university officials that the contract for the construction of the facility has been awarded to Crossland Construction Co.
