Greetings from the staff of Campus Life and Auxiliary Services at Pittsburg State University. This department consists of a broad range of administrative units, all focused on providing support services to students. From the very first contact a student has with the university through graduation and beyond, it is likely that many services within Campus Life and Auxiliary Services have supported student success within the overall university experience.
We strive to contribute to the development of the total person--academic, aesthetic, spiritual, social and physical. In short, Campus Life and Auxiliary Services has a strong commitment and dedication to celebrating, encouraging and serving multiple communities with diverse needs within the student population.
Program development and student support is an obvious role. Programs and support services are designed to complement and enhance the primary academic experience of students and to assist them in successfully applying those experiences in their daily lives. While not its sole responsibility, Campus Life and Auxiliary Services plays a major role in defining the institutional conscience. While all members of the University community must contribute to its collective conscience, Campus Life and Auxiliary Services often plays a unique role in matters of justice, fairness and equity.
We are excited that you have chosen Pittsburg State University. We hope that the information contained in this web site is useful in outlining the range of services available to students and in connecting you directly with those which can assist you in your success.
Dr. Steve Erwin
