Art exhibit celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Pittsburg State University Office of Student Diversity and the PSU Art Department have teamed up to host an exhibit of works by area Hispanic student artists. The show, in the Second Floor Gallery of Porter Hall, will run through Friday, Sept. 21.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Pittsburg State University Office of Student Diversity and the PSU Art Department have teamed up to host an exhibit of works by area Hispanic student artists. The show, in the Second Floor Gallery of Porter Hall, will run through Friday, Sept. 21.

The exhibit features the works of Juan Diego Gaucin, a current student in chemistry, who earned his BFA in painting from Pittsburg State in 2010; Dilenia Garcia, an MFA student at the University of Arkansas; and students of Jessica Stout from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.

The exhibit is free to the public.
