Block22 will house nearly 100 residential units. These units will be refined living areas with soulful touches including the perfect mix of historic elements and contemporary furnishings. Pittsburg State students will be able to choose between four layouts. The clever integration of functional furniture and storage solutions will allow each unit to be as unique as the student living within it.
Block22 is made possible through a unique public-private partnership between the City of Pittsburg, Pittsburg State University and the Vecino Group, a development/housing specialist based in Springfield, Mo. The project's estimated $18 million cost will be funded by a combination of federal and state tax credits, private funding, city investment and future leasing income.
