About Kristen R. Humphrey

Dr. Humphrey re-joined the faculty in the School of History, Philosophy and Social Sciences in 2008. She previously taught at PSU in 1995-1996. She earned her doctorate in Special Education at the University of Kansas where she was able to draw from the fields of social work and disability through work with the Beach Center on Families and Disability. Dr. Humphrey is interested in disability, foster care, and mental health.
