Research Interests
The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL), including incorporating technology, has been a focus of my research most of my career. Currently, Dr. Woestman is doing more work on the Common Core. Dr. Woestman is also a student of the U.S. Presidency having written her dissertation on Harry S Truman and the creation of the post-presidency.
Service Interests
The Archivist of the United States appointed Dr. Woestman to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Electronic Records Archives of the National Archives and Records Administration. Dr. Woestman was elected to several offices in the international organization, H-Net Humanities and Social Sciences Online and has been active in other regional and national historical and educational organizations.
