About Gil Cooper

Gil Cooper joined the Communication faculty at Pittsburg State University in 1992. Previously, Mr. Cooper was Director of Speech and Theatre at Moberly Area Community College, Missouri.

Mr. Cooper is the Communication Education Specialist, a speech communication generalist and a member of the theatre faculty. Presentational communication, small group communication and communication education are three of his areas of focus.

Outside the department, Mr. Cooper is also a communication consultant whose performance clients have included professional athletes, regional politicians, ministers, and pageant contestants. His small group communication clients have included medical schools, business corporations, hospitals, and churches.
