Sang-Heui Lee


About

Sang-Heui Lee is a Professor of Management. Dr. Lee has taught management courses including Operations Management, Quality Management, Management Information Systems, Principles of Management, International Management, Logistics and Distribution Management, and Business Programming. His research interests are focused on international logistics, enterprise information systems, open source enterprise information systems, and institutional environmental performances. His research works have been published in academic journals, including the Industrial Management & Data Systems, Production and Inventory Management Journal, International Journal of Information & Decision Sciences, Enterprise Information System, Journal of Strategic and International Studies, Service Business, International Journal of Information Technology and Management, International Journal of Sustainable Economy, and Journal of Service Industries. He is a co-author of a book chapter of the Database Warehouse, the Handbook of Technology Management and an author of a book about open source enterprise information systems application. He has presented research at the annual conference of Decision Science Institute, Pan-Pacific Conference, Americas Conference on Information Systems, Academy of Management, and other academic conferences. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Managerial Issues and an editorial board member of the Service Business journal.

Prior to joining academia, Dr. Lee worked for MCI WorldCom and Insurance Technologies as a software engineer and for Eastman Kodak Company as a senior consultant. He has a B.E. degree in Computer Science from Incheon National University, South Korea, an M.A. degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is the lay leader at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg, KS. His family includes his wife, four children, a dog, and a cat. He loves music, reading, skiing, and fishing.
