Kathleen Flannery, director of the Pittsburg State University Office of Development, has announced the appointment of Nate Garrett of Pittsburg as the director of planned giving and major gifts officer for the College of Education.
"Nate brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that we believe will be very valuable in this position," Flannery said.

He holds variable securities licenses in Kansas and Missouri and life, health, property, and casualty insurance licenses in both states. In 2007, Garrett established the Nate Garrett Agency, LLC in Pittsburg.

Irwin Graduate School of the American College and is working toward a master of science degree in financial services, also through the Richard D. Irwin Graduate School of the American College.
