Two comedians with growing national audiences will perform in Pittsburg Friday for Comedy Night: Josh Wolf and Colin Jost, sponsored by the Pittsburg State University Student Activities Council. The performance is set for 8 p.m., Feb. 24, in Pittsburg’s Memorial Auditorium.
Wolf, who started doing comedy as a youngster in Seattle, is a regular round table guest and writer on the E! series "Chelsea Lately" and is also a regular on the new E! series "After Lately." He tours with "The Comedians of Chelsea Lately" and hosts "The College Experiment," a comedic weekly online college football show for Fox Sports.
Wolf was a writer on shows like “Yes, Dear,” Will Smith’s “All of Us” and “Cuts,” which starred Shannon Elizabeth. He has had acting roles on “All of Us” and has a recurring role on “My Name is Earl.”
Colin Jost, born and raised on Staten Island, N.Y., is a writing supervisor for “Saturday Night Live.” He has performed on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and was featured as a new face at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.
Tickets for Comedy Night are $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. PSU students are free with a valid ID and faculty and staff are $7. Tickets are available at the PSU Ticket Office in the Overman Student Center (620-235-4796) or at the door the evening of the performance.
