The program will travel to Vienna, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, and Berlin. The main goal is for students to learn how psychological disorders are diagnosed and treated in Europe. Specifically, students will become familiar with the International Classification of Disease (ICD) and how it differs from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). In addition, students will become informed about the various treatment options/settings that are available to European clients.
The program activities may include:
