GUS (Gorilla Users System) Student accounts, tuition and fee statements, transcripts, schedules, financial aid status, award letters, and enrollment records are all on GUS.   Login at

GUS Email – Your university email! You will receive important updates and notices.  If you need assistance forwarding your gus.pittstate email to another email account, contact Gorilla Geeks

How to obtain a GUS PIN:

  • From the PSU homepage click on Login and then GUS
  • From the GUS login page click on "forgot GUSPIN/password"
  • If you have any questions, please contact Registrar's at 620-235-4200
Financial aid and scholarship recipients: don't forget to verify your enrollment.

Gorilla Card – All new on-campus students receiving financial assistance must have a Gorilla Card prior to verifying enrollment.

Payment Methods – Pay by 08/27/2018.

  • BY MAIL: Send your check to

  • IN PERSON: Pay by cash or check on campus during normal business hours (8:30-3:30pm) at:PSU Office of Cashiers and Student Accounts, Room 112 Horace Mann.

  • ON-LINE: Pay by eCheck or by *Credit Card on GUS, Student Accounts, then click on View Statement/Make Payment

    *A 2.9% convenience fee by Informed Decisions Corporation will be applied to credit and debit card transactions only.

  • PAYMENT PLAN: Tuition payment plans are available online with a contract charge of $25 per semester. A new application through GUS is required every semester.

Financial Aid

  • To receive your financial aid or scholarships, you must verify your enrollment through GUS each semester.  

  • Students who plan to pay tuition by an outside loan, scholarship or sponsorship are asked to contact the Office of Cashiers and Student Accounts by 08/27/ 2018, to confirm their intent to pay.

Rent or buy your books at the Gorilla Bookstore, located inside the Overman Student Center. Over 350 titles available to rent for Fall Semester 2018. Shop early for the best selection at the Official Campus Bookstore website.

08/27  Last day to enroll or add classes without instructor permission 

08/27  Tuition and Fees must be paid by 3:30 p.m.

08/27  Last day for full refund of tuition and fees

08/28  Instructor permission required to enroll or add classes

08/28  GUS on-line enrollment is closed. Enrollment is processed through the Registrar's Office, 103 Russ Hall

09/03  Labor Day Holiday

09/04  Final day to drop without transcript notation

09/05  The grade of W will be recorded on a transcript for dropped courses September 6 through November 6

09/14  Last day to apply for Spring 2018 Professional Education Semester

09/22  Family Day

09/26 Last day for one-half tuition and fee refund

10/11  Fall Break ( 10-11 & 10-12)

10/20  Homecoming

10/15  Mid semester D and F grades due

10/31  Grad finale 9:30-4:00

11/02  Final day to apply for degrees for December graduation

11/03  Rumble in the Jungle

11/04  Early Enrollment (11-4 to 11-9) for 2019 Spring semester

11/05  Final day for a W to be recorded for dropped courses

11/05  Final day to drop non-completed individual course(s)

11/06  Student can no longer drop a single course/must withdraw from all courses for the Fall term

11/06  Students may totally withdraw from the fall term through November 30

11/12  Transfer CARES (11-12 & 11-13) enrollment for 2019 Spring semester

11/19  Final day for first draft of thesis and Ed.S project

11/20  Dismissal for Thanksgiving break (11-20 to 11-26)

11/26  Classwork resumes

11/30  Students are prohibited from withdrawing for the Fall term

12/03  Final day for submission of thesis and Ed.S project

12/10  Final examinations begin

12/14  Final examinations close

12/14  IN grades processed for SU/SP courses

12/14  Commencement
