Congratulations on this major achievement in your life!
The commencement ceremony is a recognition of all the time, effort and talent you invested in earning your degree. It is also a tribute to the faculty and staff who taught and mentored you during your time at Pittsburg State University. Finally, it is a celebration of the support and encouragement you have received from family and friends throughout your journey.
Your degree signifies not only what you have learned, but also the many ways that you have grown and changed through your Pittsburg State experience. We have enjoyed being part of that growth and change and we are confident about your ability to make your own mark in the world.
On behalf of all the faculty and staff at Pittsburg State University, I wish you all the best as you begin a career or continue your studies. And remember, your relationship with Pittsburg State University does not end with a handshake at commencement. "Once a Gorilla, always a Gorilla" is a philosophy shared by more than 55,000 PSU alumni around the world. We welcome you into this growing family.
