Dear Graduate:
Congratulations on achieving a major milestone in your life!
As you prepare for Commencement, I hope you take a little time to reflect on how much you have accomplished in your time at Pittsburg State University. I hope you also think about the many people -- family and friends as well as Pittsburg State faculty and staff--who have helped you along the way. Take time to thank them for having confidence in you.
A university education changes a person. You are not the same today as when you arrived at PSU. Your world is bigger. Your dreams are higher. Your opportunities have expanded. Pittsburg State University is proud to have been a part of that growth.
On behalf of all of the faculty and staff at Pittsburg State University, I wish you success as you begin the next phase of your life, whether that means launching a career or continuing your studies. We know you have what it takes to make your dreams come true. And be sure to keep in touch. "Once a Gorilla, Always a Gorilla" isn't just something to put on a t-shirt. It is an expression of the strong and enduring bonds that bind Pittsburg State University alumni around the world with each other and with their alma mater.
