2009 W-2 Information 

Employee W-2 Statements for 2009 were mailed from Topeka on Wednesday, January 6, 2010.

Employees needing duplicate W-2's for years 2004 through 2009 should use the "W-2 Reissue Request" function found in Employee Self Service at https://sharp.ks.gov/psp/ESS/.  Duplicate W-2's for 2004 through 2008 are currently available.  Duplicate W-2's for 2009 will be available starting on Wednesday, January 20, 2010.

Income Tax Preparation Assistance

This tax season, PSU students will prepare taxes, free of charge, for low-income households earning $38,000 or less. VITA or Volunteer Income Tax Assistance is coordinated by Dr. Becky Heath with student assistance from the Department of Accounting, Beta Alpha Psi, and Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE). VITA will be held in Room 105 Kelce Hall, 1701 S. Broadway. The VITA volunteers can assist you with filing the following forms: Form 1040 EZ, Form 1040 A, Form 1040-V, Schedule 1-3 & EIC, Form 1040, Form 1040-ES, Schedule A, B, EIC & R, Form 8863, Form 2441, and Form 8812.

You can receive assistance from 5-9 pm on February 4, 11, 18, 21, and 25; March 4, 11, and 25; and April 1, 8, 15. Taxes will also be prepared from 1-5 pm on February 7, 14, 21, and 28; and March 7. You will not need an appointment to receive assistance. We request that you bring last year's tax return, the birthdays and SSNs of all dependents, W-2s, 1099s, and any other tax documents.
