A Pittsburg State University graduate who has built a successful career as a motivational speaker will take the stage tonight to offer advice on how students can live effective, productive lives.
Corey Taylor, a dynamic speaker who uses humor and honesty to inspire others, will present a leadership workshop at 6 p.m. tonight in the Governor’s Room of Overman Student Center. Taylor, who lives in Tulsa, Okla., often speaks at conferences and has performed at Wichita State University and the University of Kansas.
Taylor will speak about leadership strategies and how leadership differs from “managing.” He will also talk about educational strategies, mastering time management, staying organized, and share some of the lessons he’s learned along the way.
The workshop is free and open to the PSU community. For more information, contact Student Diversity Office Director Detrea Rose at 620-235-6556.
