Pittsburg State University is one of the best schools in the country to earn an MBA according to the Princeton Review, which has named the PSU College of Business within its annual list of top business programs.
The Review recently listed PSU in its 2011 edition of the 300 Best Business Schools in the country. Schools on the list are selected based on their academic programs and offerings as well as the ratings of students.
This year's selected schools are listed in "The Best 300 Business Schools: 2011 Edition" which went on sale in bookstores in mid-October. The edition includes the opinions of more than 19,000 students at the top AACSB-accredited MBA programs in the world. The book is designed to help readers compare programs and select the right business school for them.
According to the Princeton Review, PSU business students reported being impressed with the number of student activities on campus, the high quality of professors and courses, and the strong bond between the community and university.
"It's always an honor to be named to this list, which we believe accurately reflects the excellence of our program," said Dr. Richard Dearth, dean of the College of Business.
