Food and culture from across the globe will be on display at Pittsburg State University’s annual International Food and Culture Fair on Saturday, March 4, in Pittsburg’s Memorial Auditorium.
Students from Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ethiopia, India, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Paraguay, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Uganda, U.S.A. and Yemen will share samples of traditional foods from their countries and will present live cultural performances.
Food samples will be served from 5-6:30 p.m. in the lower level of the auditorium. The cultural show will be on stage upstairs from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The entry fee is $2 per person and food samples are $1 each, while supplies last.
The International Food and Culture Fair is sponsored by the PSU International Student Association, the PSU Office of International Programs and Services, numerous PSU student cultural organizations and community volunteers.
