The PSU Chinese Culture Club will sponsor a Moon Festival at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, in Gorilla Village on the Pittsburg State University campus. The event is free and open to the public.
The Moon or Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated each year in China when the moon is largest in the sky.
Chinese students will share the history behind this observance as well as information about many other aspects of Chinese culture. They plan to offer storytelling and poems, as well as mooncakes and other Chinese foods.
