Qualified students may audition for scholarships on all wind, brass, percussion, woodwind, string and keyboard instruments, and voice. Additional assistance in the form of stipends are available for the Marching Band and Pep Bands.
Members of the "Pride of the Plains" Marching Band receive Band Stipend Awards for their participation. Currently, the amount for wind players is $400. Drum-Line and Color Guard receive a $500 stipend award. Those students who participate in Basketball Pep Bands receive an additional Band Stipend Award of $225.00 for each band they are in.

The following guidelines have been designed to assist you with your preparation for your scholarship audition. Students always seem to have questions about "what is appropriate for an audition?" We hope that this outline will answer these questions for you and help you to better prepare for your audition.
