Qualified students may audition for scholarships on all wind, brass, percussion, woodwind, string and keyboard instruments, and voice. Additional assistance in the form of Participation Awards are available for the Marching Band and Pep Bands.
Members of the "Pride of the Plains" Marching Band receive Participation Awards for their enrollment. Currently, the amount for wind players is $400. Drum-Line and Color Guard receive a $500 award. Those students who participate in Basketball Pep Bands receive an additional award of $225.00 for each band in which they participate.

The following guidelines have been designed to assist you with your preparation for your scholarship audition. Students always seem to have questions about "what is appropriate for an audition?" We hope that this outline will answer these questions for you and help you to better prepare for your audition.
