Roberta Shilane took three students, Robert Vaughn Damm, Ginger Niemann, and Kasey Stafford, to Spain in May. Students visited Salamanca, Madrid, Toledo, Seville, and Avila. They improved their speaking skills and Spanish grammar and enjoyed the rich cultural and historical aspects of the tour. Highlights of the trip were the Alcázar castle, home of Isabel and Ferdinand, in Segovia, the Prado Museum in Madrid, the flamenco evening in Seville, the cathedrals in Segovia, Toledo, and Seville, and the royal castle of Seville. The last two days were for relaxation on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The experience will be remembered for a lifetime!
