The Computer Classroom/Lab currently has 24 Pentium 4 computers with Windows XP, MS Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Netscape installed on them. The printers in the lab are HP LaserJet 5s (six printers with four computers connected to each printer). An extra instructor's computer is connected to an Infocus projector. The lab is also equipped with a computer for the visually or hearing impaired. The lab is staffed with technical assistants to help teachers and students with any software or hardware problems.
Between the hours of 8 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, the English Department has priority for use of the Lab. Other departments may sign up to use the lab in the English Department Office (call 235-4689). When the lab is not being used for classroom instruction, it is available for all students currently enrolled in the university.
