The Department of Chemistry would like to thank all those who have been so generous with their contributions. You contributions help us to provide quality education, educational opportunities, and financial assistance to those seeking an education through Chemistry.
Areas of need include Chemistry Scholarships, Chemistry equipment, and the Chemistry General Fund for areas of greatest need. You may also contribute to other Chemistry areas of your choosing.
To make an online contribution to Chemistry, please use this link to contribute online. You will be taken to the Pittsburg State University Foundation Online Gifts form. The form will automatically indicate that the gift is for Chemistry. Please list the area of your choice in the text box labeled "(Other) Fund description". If distributing your donation across multiple Chemistry areas, please indicate the area followed by the dollar amount (i.e. General Fund $100, Scholarships $200). You will need to complete the remainder of the form.
If you would prefer to mail your contribution to Chemistry, please download the Department of Chemistry Contribution Form to print out, complete, and mail.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match all or a percentage of any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees, retirees, and/or spouses. Check with your company about their matching gift policy or use our HEP Employer Matching Gift Program Database to find out if your company participates. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest.
Other types of GiftsYou can give a gift to the Chemistry Department in a variety of forms, including cash, in-kind gifts, planned giving, securities, real estate, trusts, life insurance and bequests. You might even work for a company that will match your gift to Pittsburg State University, there by increasing your contribution. Gifts to Pittsburg State are tax-deductible to the full extent of the Internal Revenue Code. To learn more about making a gift, please contact Ellen Carter, Director of Major Gifts for the College of Arts and Sciences, at 620-235-4930 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Again, thank you for your generous contributions.
